Offline conversions uploaded after 7 days still fill the columns and never reach DDA

A closed deal uploaded eight days after the click still lands in Campaigns. The attribution engine, and the Smart Bidding that drinks from it, never see it. Hana Kobzova and Adriaan Dekker surfaced the Help Center rule on August 22: standard reports have no upload-latency gate; Model Comparison and data-driven attribution do.

Why it matters: Weekly batch uploads on B2B and lead-gen accounts are training Smart Bidding on a censored conversion set. Get the upload SLA under 7 days, or stop treating DDA and Campaigns as the same number.

IAB is writing the credit rules for ads no human clicked

A working group of brands, agencies, and vendors is drafting a November 12 framework that splits AI impact into served to a user versus helped make a decision, because UTM and referral trails die inside agents. Caroline Giegerich says the fight is over what evidence counts. OpenAds' Michael Bishop warns the platforms will still mark their own homework.

Why it matters: Do not put real budget behind agent ads or GEO-lift currencies until you know which layer of credit the standard will bless. Experimental money only until November 12.

ChatGPT Ads custom audiences start at 25,000

OpenAI is hiring a $374k–$415k ads enterprise marketer and shipping CMO-ready charts, low-budget flags, and suggested headlines. Accuracast's Farhad Divecha notes the custom-audience floor is 25,000 — a CRM-scale advertiser feature, not an SMB one.

Why it matters: Treat ChatGPT Ads as an enterprise test channel until that floor moves. Do not brief thin-list or local accounts into custom audiences they cannot fill.
